OVER A DOZEN CHICKENS

Todd and Val are wonderful hosts who have a gorgeous slice of Vermont to share with others. We felt really fortunate to find this beautiful spot to stay. It's an easy drive to Burlington and you're still nestled amongst the mountains for quick hikes during the day and mind-blowing stars at night.

The food that Todd and Val prepared for us was delicious (all local or from their garden or hens—everything was outrageously fresh). We really enjoyed talking with Todd and Val during our stay—they were both extremely interesting people and helpful hosts, providing tips on places to visit (Val even drew up a map for us to get to a trailhead). They were always available if we needed anything and our room was comfortable and quiet (we had the place to ourselves during the weekend we stayed).  We would consider going back with our kids—it'd be a fun place to explore from during the winter. Thank you again to Todd and Val for the satisfying stay at their home.
